For best results, place cedar oil in a diffuser, or mix several drops of the oil into a spray bottle filled with warm water and spray the mixture onto problem areas. They have also used cedar hangers and put cedar blocks in dresser drawers to keep moths away from their clothes. I will hang them in my closets where i have wools and such.

However, other studies suggest that the cedar might only work in a confined area, like a closet. Overhead natural light bulbs are preferred, but if they are not available, good fluorescent lighting is a practical solution. Moth eggs can easily infiltrate your closet by affixing.
